Free Motion Quilting Basics

All you need to bring is your sewing machine in good working condition with a free motion foot installed, a collection of threads (polyester, cotton, rayon content in a variety of weights and colors OK) and 3 or four 18” fabric/batting/fabric sandwiches (a variety of prints makes stitching more fun!).. If you have an extension table for your machine, that would also be helpful. And, we have free motion gloves in stock if you need to purchase some. Learn about muscle memory and how to set up your machine with the feed teeth lowered. Then, we’ll start out with some simple designs and practice, practice, practice! It’ll be FUN!
