Description:
Skill Builders do exactly that — build a skill for a particular type of quilting technique and are usually shorter sessions resulting in a smaller pieced item by the end. Would you like to master the Flying Geese building block and have perfect points every time? This also involves using the Creative Grids Ultimate Flying Geese Tool which makes four (4) Flying Geese units at a time with squares — no triangles required, and has markings for eight (8) different sizes. Have you ever wondered what you could make with just two fat quarters (FQ) of fabric? This pattern uses those to create a mug rug, small pillow, or small place setting approximately 8” x 12”. Come join the fun in perfecting a skill!
Fabric Requirements:
2 fat quarters of complementary fabric (light-dark, pattern-solid, etc)
10″ x 14″ batting.
Tool Requirements:
Creative Grids Ultimate Flying Geese Tool
Sewing machine in good working order, with a new needle (extra needles, if needed). Please remember the foot pedal and power cord!
¼” foot or tape to mark a ¼” guide line on the machine

Rotary cutter, with a new blade (extra blades, if needed)
Pins and needles, pin cushion
Thread (coordinate with fabric)
Scissors and/or snips
Cutting ruler (6” x 24”)
