Would you like to learn basic quilting techniques? Have you ever wondered what you could make with a Jelly Roll*? This pattern uses one jelly roll along with a little binding fabric to create a small lap quilt, baby quilt, or wheelchair quilt.
Fabric Requirements:
One Jelly Roll (42 strips) containing and equal number of light, medium, and dark
Tool Requirements:
Sewing machine in good working order, with a new needle (extra needles, if needed). Please remember the foot pedal and power cord!
¼” foot or tape to mark a ¼” guide line on the machine
Rotary cutter, with a new blade (extra blades, if needed)
Pins and needles, pin cushion
Thread (coordinate with fabric)
Scissors and/or snips
Cutting ruler (6” x 24”)
Seam ripper
Note taking materials (eg., notebook, paper, pen/pencil)
Check out the list on the whiteboard at the shop! Please call to reserve your seat as these days fill quickly and space is limited. 603-373-0151.
- Moda Jelly Rolls™ are a set of 40 precut 2 ½” WOF strips from one coordinated line, rolled up. Not all sets of 2 ½” strips are cut the same — measure to ensure accuracy.
