The simplicity of the Nyla Jacket design combined with the bright, bold fabric makes for a wonderful and wearable garment. It is the ideal jacket for those slightly cool autumn and spring days. The HUGE hood makes it very cozy and attractive and it has deep pockets. Easy to sew, wonderful to wear – what is not to like?! Make yours from two identical jelly rolls OR use a lightweight to medium weight fabric that you absolutely love! This is a multi-size pattern: all sizes from S to 3 XL are on the same pattern. It was created for a person approximately 5’6″ tall. If your height is above or below, you may adjust pattern length by a few inches to the bottom of the pattern.

*** PLEASE READ IMPORTANT ***

If you are using jelly roll strips to make your jacket, you must complete STEP 1 BEFORE class. Here are the instructions for STEP 1:

Step 1: With RIGHT SIDES together, sew all the strips together to form one “body” of fabric. Each jelly roll is composed of 42 strips. Repeat this step for the second jelly roll and attach the two pieces together forming one piece of fabric with 84 strips.
